Karen and Anthony got engaged in 2007 and they got a son in 2009, shortly before Anthony passed away at the age of 20.
The ceremony was in eastern France, and there were close friends and relatives of Karen and her little son.
"He was my first and only love, we were together for four years. We were hoping that together we will raise our son. I never wanted  to do this alone, but the fate decided otherwise. Now I am his wife and will always love him, " said Karen.

French legal experts say that if Karen ever meet another man and wants to marry again, she have to divorce first.

This is not the first time in France to have this type of wedding. Frenchwoman Christel Demichel several years ago married her dead boyfriend, a former policeman who was killed by a drunk driver in September 2002.
